    Err...I just wonder...why not something like Wargame:Red Dragon?I play it,and after an odd one year of on/off play,i just gained the correct 'mentality approach' to play it.Its slower,more thinking,more strategy/tactics,more realism.

      +thegamefan in starcraft, ur mind needs to be fast. they demmand more thinking. u need more concentration in starcraft. it's like u have to have 5 brains. control units, macro economy, expand, macro unit, micro, banelling splits, strategy, unit counter,etc, etc, etc. in a single momment. thats it.

      +vennish11 yes, but one day you'll have to retire bc you're too old or obsolete for that competition (usually around 23-27 yr) and you didn't become a big shot, then what, are you going to be a VG coach? Yeah sure, keep dreaming, if you're lucky enough you can join the military, otherwise you have NOTHING to put on a curriculum. Sorry for being harsh, but that's the truth :/

    Having some managers who cares about their team-members, re-distribuating the benefits for a better food and conditions (and not taking 80% like the starving ones), that's one of the few keys to motivate them for the best !

      ***** Stupid? Kinda ironic when Starcraft is one of the most hardest strategy games out there. Give me a game that is harder than starcraft. Starcraft requires superfast apm compared to other games and requires far more attention to the smallest details such as timings in seconds,

    This is like third time I watched this and it's always interest. Many ppl doesn't know that world is changing and e-sports it's getting bigger and bigger. And it's easy, because enybody can be e-sport player, you just need to practice with right persons. To other ppl, playing about games it's just a joke, but for me, it's a new dream to be work in e-sports community. I don't care am I the biggest Zerg player in Finland, I just want to be a part of it :)

  • @danpt2000
    @danpt2000 10 років тому

    I appreciate the skill of these guys, but that is a lot of work. Originally these games are made for entertainment. devoting so much energy/time into a game. It is ridiculous.

    • @paganhousecat
      @paganhousecat 10 років тому

      It's seems as ridiculous as any other sport to me. Given how much money they stand to make from a gaming career, I can see why they devote so much time and energy into it. SC2 is nearly like American football in Korea, and requires no less training than any other pro-athlete would need at that level of competing. Esports opens up a new, more intellectual form of competition, almost reminds me of Ender's Game. As gaming becomes more prevalent in living generations, and technology allows for a multi-dimensional viewing experience for an audience, I think Esports will start to replace physical feats of athleticism or have an equal respect traditional sports enjoy now.

    • @danpt2000
      @danpt2000 10 років тому

      paganhousecat Yes, all games and sports are ridiculous. The Amount of money, fanaticism devoted to them is ridiculous.

    • @danpt2000

      renato muu I would compare competitive video gaming to chess tournaments. Yes, I can appreciate the athleticism of sports, but if you think about it, most sports are about Grown Men chasing after a ball. And people devote so much time and money into such a pursuit. Kind of ridiculous also.

      Arman Afshari coffee is ok, Maybe tea is cleaner for your body. Dunno why people can't just drink water, with a squeeze of lemon. Not sure if these pro team managers break out the whip or not, but I don't see why a player who has been practicing 5 or 6 hours straight aren't allowed a 1 hr nap or something.

    Ive been look down and talk crap about what i do in my freetime. Some people like to chase girl and they go after women. Some love car and talk about it, study about it and eventually got a ride or social life out of it. Me? I like computer games... why? Because it allow me to think and i dont have to bother other people irl. I love playing computer game because it motivate me to keep my mind on alert. I also shoot gun for recreational purpose because shooting a gun as sport doesnt mean you can go up and shoot like youre a trained hitman from a computer game. you need to learn how to control your breathe, your mind is stress and its help me train to focus on self understanding. And i ride motocycle, im fully aware of my surrounding since rider will know if you ever hit the real road full of rushing commuter.so during my time in college i spent most of my free time playing games while my classmate chase bitches, get high and die in car races. Nothing is wrong with any of that at all. But if you think looking down on gamer just because you see them as an easy prey... you are fucking wrong. Respect is not the same as envy, if you say they dont get respect, have you ask your self what kind of respect do you want. Did people respect donald trumph for making shit load of money or do they respect him only because he scam the fuck outtha shitty lawsuit. Respect in your term are difference from respect for gamer. There are plenty of game which have a community and in order to get respect you have to earn it not by being a dick face like you. You dont even know what respect is judging by your comment, i doubt you earn a lot as well talking shit like that. Gamers is a lifestyle and we are the brain mother fucker of nature divine.

      No offense, but I can't exactly read this. I mean, I understand that you are saying that you don't chase girls, and instead you shoot guns for recreation and ride motorcycles and play games to keep yourself alert, but the rest is pretty garbled in your poor grammar.

    • @hideseek8607
      @hideseek8607 10 років тому

      Ken Zhou Yes :D garble marble. I don't intend to make people understand. You see, I have this problem trying to convince other people on the internet that I'm overly awesome by demeaning other's comment or point out that their comment are garb.
